Sermar Line S.r.l. is a limited liability company founded in 1991, under the trade name of “Servizi Marittimi Srl” with a full paid-up capital of 624.000,00 Euros (six hundred twenty four thousand Euros). On 1998 the company changed its trade name to ‘Sermar Line S.r.l.’.
Sermar Line srl is a certified ISO 9001:2000 company.
Sermar Line S.r.l. is carrying out its activity as ‘Common Carrier’, within Mediterranean area, employing chartered vessels and as such is registered as member of the IEMCO Conference.
From when first founded until today, the company has improved its activity through the gradual expansion of its services from the initial route Adriatic – East Med, to the present network of regular container services, as stated here below.
Company Services Network
1. Adriatic: weekly direct service from/to Koper, Venice, Ravenna, Ancona, Beirut, Tartous, Lattakia, Mersin, Famagusta (in transhipment via Mersin), Alexandria (Old Port, Dekeila), Malta and Limassol.
2. Intramed: weekly cross-trade service connecting the Mediterranean ports of Malta, Mersin, Lattakia, Tartous, Beirut and Alexandria (Old Port, Dekeila) and Limassol.

Container Fleet
The container fleet of the company consists in approximately 4,000 TEUs, 20’/40’ box, open top, high cube and flat racks, which allows an annual movement of over 20,000 TEUs. This is possible thanks to a modern computerised system, through which a rational control of movements and allotments of units can be timely carried out according to the actual requests of the various ports.
